Job summary

Potters Industries in Thomasville, NC, is seeking an entry-level to intermediate manufacturing technician to support packaging of finished bead product lines. The role reports to the Operations team and requires adherence to the production schedule and quality standards.

Expect a weekly pay cycle with a typical M-T shift from early morning hours; forklift operation experience and a high school diploma are required. Training available, with potential for additional certifications.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Post high school, technical school or college a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operates the process safely and reliably according to production schedule.
• Complies with health, safety and environmental rules and regulations.
• Communicates production needs with fellow employees.
• Maintains production records and documents.
• Sets up, prepares and monitors machines and equipment for production requirements.
• Ensures packaging materials meet customer specifications and cost targets.
• Monitors emissions and environmental permits as required.
• Follows established work procedures and hazard ID practices.
