Job summary

Stratas Foods in Fresno, CA is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead daily packaging operations, ensuring safe, efficient production and strict adherence to SOPs.

You will drive quality and line efficiency, train staff, enforce safety rules, and coordinate with maintenance and leadership to meet targets.

A high school diploma is required; 3–5 years of manufacturing supervisory experience in food processing is preferred; knowledge of GMP and OSHA standards is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; bachelor’s preferred in operations, engineering, business or related field.
• 3–5 years of manufacturing experience, ideally in food processing/packaging or food safety.
• Prior supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general PC literacy.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily packaging ops to meet schedules with safe labor and materials.
• Maintain SOPs and adjust processes to hit production targets.
• Ensure quality, output, yield, and line efficiency.
• Oversee manufacturing and shipping performance, including productivity.
• Back up supervisors to maintain operational coverage.
• Enforce OSHA, environmental, GMP and company policies.
• Promote safety, participate in safety programs and meetings.
• Maintain sanitation and equipment cleanliness per GMP.
• Train employees on safety, procedures, and compliance.
• Supervise and develop team to achieve goals and a positive work environment.
• Apply budget discipline to labor and operations.
• Coordinate with maintenance to optimize equipment performance.
• Communicate shift activities and results to plant leadership.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to resolve issues.
• Participate in regular safety and GMP meetings.
