Job summary

Dierbergs Markets, Inc. is seeking a Full-Time Production Associate for our Central Kitchen in Bridgeton, Missouri. In a fast-paced environment, you will help produce prepared foods, follow recipes, and ensure quality and safety standards across a 50,000 square-foot facility.

Open availability; ability to lift up to 50 pounds, operate wrappers, scales, slicers and ovens; no overnight shifts; weekly pay; opportunities for training and growth within the department.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Open availability and willingness to learn all aspects of the Central Kitchen production.
• Ability to operate food service equipment (wrappers, labelers, scales, slicers, ovens, mixers) with training provided.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in producing high-quality prepared foods in a fast-paced Central Kitchen.
• Follow recipes, production papers, and safety guidelines to meet quality standards.
• Work across different temperature zones (38 to 90+ degrees) as needed.
• Maintain reliability, punctuality, and readiness to take on tasks during peak times.
• Support training and growth within the production team.

What you need to succeed

• High school diploma or GED
• Open availability
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds (occasionally), utilize push/pull cart of up to 260lbs, and physical agility required in a fast-paced food production environment
• Ambition and a willingness to learn all aspects of our production environment
• Ability to operate food service equipment such as wrappers, labelers, scales, slicers, ovens, mixers, etc. (training provided)
• The ability to read and interpret production papers and accurately measure ingredients
• This is an entry-level role and we are willing to train; restaurant, production or general labor experience will serve you well
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards is a plus
• Flexibility to take on tasks as needed
