TSE B.V. is seeking a Packaging & Processing Lead to oversee the packaging and processing of goods within our global logistics operations. You will lead a team, allocate tasks, train staff, and ensure accuracy and efficiency in preparing shipments.

The role requires strong leadership, solid knowledge of quality control, inventory tracking, safety compliance, and collaboration with shipping, receiving, and customer service to meet customer expectations.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree required and two years of packaging/processing leadership experience.
• CPP Certified Packaging Professional and CSCP certification preferred.
• Forklift Operator Certification valuable where applicable.
• Strong communication with team members and other departments for smooth logistics operations.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team; good documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead a packaging and processing team; assign tasks and provide training.
• Ensure quality and accuracy of packaging; maintain strict QC procedures.
• Track inventory, order supplies, and coordinate with shipping, receiving, and customer service.
• Improve packaging and processing processes to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
• Ensure safety regulations are followed and keep records of activities.
• Address issues promptly, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
• Prepare goods for shipment meeting or exceeding customer expectations.

The Packaging & Processing Lead plays a pivotal role in the operations of a logistics company. This position is responsible for managing and overseeing the packaging and processing of goods, ensuring that they are prepared for shipment accurately and efficiently.

Job responsibilities

• Responsible for managing a team of packaging and processing personnel.
• Assign tasks, provide training, and ensure that the team operates efficiently.
• Ensuring the quality and accuracy of packaging.
• Leads are responsible for establishing and maintaining strict quality control procedures.
• Keeping track of inventory levels, ordering supplies, and coordinating with other departments.
• Improve packaging and processing processes to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
• Overseeing that all safety regulations are followed.
• Maintaining accurate records of packaging and processing activities.
• Working closely with other departments, such as shipping, receiving, and customer service.
• Addressing issues and discrepancies in packaging and processing promptly, identifying the root causes, and implementing corrective actions.
• Ensuring that goods are prepared for shipment in a manner that meets or exceeds customer expectations.

This role requires a combination of leadership, logistics expertise, and attention to detail to maintain the smooth flow of goods within the supply chain.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree
• Minimum 2 years work experience as Packaging & Processing Lead
• (CPP) Certified Packaging Proffesional or,
• Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP): The APICS organization issued.
• Forklift Operator Certification: If you interact with loading forks or other equipment.
• Effective communication with team members and other departments is necessary for a smooth logistics operation.
• Ability to work effectively both on an individual basis and as part of a team
• Strong computer skills to maintain accurate and complete documentation
