Job Details

Position: Packaging Operator
Wage: $24.65/hr plus $2/hr shift differential
Shift: 2nd shift (1pm to 9pm)
Schedule: Weekends and overtime as required, may include 12-hour shifts

Job Description

The Machine Operator ensures the safe and efficient operation of rigid equipment in various areas of the line, performs sanitation, and maintains quality standards. Responsibilities include operating equipment, troubleshooting, conducting quality checks, sanitation, and supporting safety and quality systems in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate specific equipment safely and accurately
• Set up, start-up, and changeover procedures
• Troubleshoot line performance issues
• Change foil rolls and conduct quality checks
• Maintain sanitation and cleanliness of equipment and work environment
• Handle chemicals properly and perform sanitation duties
• Monitor process parameters and document activities
• Support plant quality and safety systems
• Perform other duties as assigned
