Job summary

Uponor is seeking a Packaging Operator for night shifts in Minnesota. You will operate packaging equipment, ensure quality standards, label products, and maintain production records in a lean, safety-conscious environment.

We offer a 4x4 schedule (4 days on, 4 days off), a $20.50–$27.22 base hourly rate with a $2 shift differential, and comprehensive benefits including PPO health coverage and a 401(k) match. Training is provided to new hires.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent is required.
• Good math skills, familiar with the metric system.
• Basic computer skills are required.
• Basic mechanical and technical skills are required.
• Must be able to problem solve, multitask, prioritize and pay attention to detail.
• Able to work a 12-hour shift.

Responsibilities

• Operates all packaging equipment by following procedures.
• Maintains quality standards and production paperwork to avoid order rejects.
• Labels products accurately and tracks production data.
• Changes reels/carts as required by written procedures.
• Maintains clean and organized work area and follows 5S standards.

In addition, this position is responsible for process, and quality standards associated with packaging. This position is required to maintain accurate and legible production reports. Taking of quality samples, performing quality measurements and assuring adherence to quality standards.
