Job summary

Didion Inc. is seeking an experienced Packaging Operator/Mechanic to run and maintain packaging lines, perform basic maintenance, and support bulk load-out operations.

The role emphasizes safety, reliability, and efficient product movement in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will operate packaging equipment confidently, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate with maintenance and operations teams to improve line efficiency.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent; technical training preferred.
• Experience in manufacturing, ideally in a food-safe or regulated environment.
• Ability to troubleshoot equipment and perform basic maintenance.
• Forklift experience or willingness to certify quickly.
• Capable of lifting up to 55 lbs and working in hot, cold, or dusty conditions.
• Strong safety mindset and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor packaging and bulk load-out equipment to keep production running smoothly.
• Perform basic mechanical troubleshooting, adjustments, and preventive maintenance on pack line equipment.
• Support bulk load-out and warehouse activities, including forklift operation and loading/unloading shipments.
• Identify and resolve equipment or process issues before they impact production.
• Complete quality checks, sample preparation, and required production paperwork.
