Job summary

Bausch + Lomb in Tampa, FL is seeking a Packaging Operator I to operate packaging lines, perform serialization, and ensure GMP and ISO compliance. The role requires 1–3 years of packaging experience, a high school diploma, and strong documentation and math skills.

Shift Tue–Fri 10:30am–9:00pm with start pay range of $18.00 per hour. You will maintain OEE, prevent cross-contamination, document batch records, and participate in OpEx and EHS initiatives.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Ability to work quickly and maintain accuracy under pressure.
• Excellent documentation and basic math skills are essential.
• Attention to detail and a quality-focused mindset.
• Strong teamwork and communication abilities.
• Clearly read, write, and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Operates packaging line and serialization equipment.
• Maintains production area to prevent cross-contamination (line clearance).
• Cleans packaging lines after each run and performs line clearance.
• Responsible for maintaining OEE (system entry and standards).
• Documents all activities and operations accurately in batch records.
• Meets training requirements (SOP, EHS, HR) throughout the year.
• Supports OpEx improvements and EHS initiatives.
• Upholds GMP, ISO and EHS compliance within the area.
• Attends OpEx initiatives and other duties as assigned.
