Job summary

Tellus Products, LLC is seeking a Packaging Operator II to run the packaging line, box and palletize finished goods, and ensure GMP/SQF compliance. The role includes verifying metal detectors, logging calibrations, and verifying lot codes.

Responsibilities include checking product quality, labeling pallets, understanding lot codes, and documenting pallet records. Strong communication and physical endurance are essential, with weekend availability as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Flexible, reliable and well organized.
• Able to frequently lift 25–60 pounds.
• Must be able to work Saturdays, Sundays and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Operate the packaging line and box finished goods.
• Paletize cases at end of packaging line.
• Create Pallet IDs and use correct lot coding system.
• Perform hourly metal detector verification and complete calibration log.
• Check products for quality and notify shift lead if not conforming.
• Understand and validate product lot codes.
• Label finished pallets using pallet tagging systems.
• Maintain a clean, organized, GMP/SQF-compliant work area.
• Know SAP material numbers for product identification.
• Record all completed pallets for the shift.
