Job summary

Nestlé Health Science in San Antonio, Texas, is seeking a Manufacturing Operator to join the Packaging Department on the 1st shift (Mon-Fri, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM). The role involves operating and monitoring production equipment, loading and unloading, and helping maintain quality and safety standards.

Candidates should have a High school diploma or GED (preferred) and 0–2 years of manufacturing or warehouse experience.

SHIFT/SCHEDULE:

This role operates on the 1st shift, with a schedule of Monday - Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM.

ONBOARDING SCHEDULE:

To ensure a successful start and seamless integration into the team, this role includes a structured 4-5-day onboarding program, typically scheduled from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. All new employees are expected to complete this onboarding during their first week.

This role will support our Packaging Department.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Operate and monitor production equipment
• Load, unload, clean, and adjust machinery
• Perform basic troubleshooting and routine maintenance
• Accurately measure and scale ingredients
• Complete quality checks and record data
• Keep your work area clean
• Follows safety rules, SOP's and cGMP guidelines
• Performs other duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS:

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• 0–2 years of experience in manufacturing or warehouse work
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand, bend, and move throughout your shift

SKILLS:

• Basic understanding of manufacturing equipment and inventory processes (preferred)
• Comfortable using computers or tablets
• Able to read, write, and understand English
• Basic math and mechanical understanding
• Strong attention to detail
• Team-oriented and dependable
• Comfortable working around powders, chemicals, and food allergens
