Job summary

Swipejobs is hiring a Packaging Operator to oversee the packaging line, ensuring continuous material flow and adherence to quality and safety procedures. You will work to meet daily packaging schedules and improve yield and output efficiency in a United States facility.

The position requires the ability to work 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shifts, with overtime as needed, and to operate within GMP and AstraZeneca Environmental, Health and Safety standards.

Qualifications

• GMP compliance standards awareness is expected.
• Willingness to work shifts and overtime as required.

Responsibilities

• Work under direct supervision to perform normal operating routines.
• Perform packaging activities required to support packaging equipment running efficiently and within required timelines.
• Perform visual inspection of product at scheduled intervals.
• Monitor and retrieve required material to ensure packaging is running efficiently.
• Clean up the packaging line and assist with set-up activities per GMP standards.
• Minimize equipment stoppage and idle time proactively.
• Comply with all regulations, SOPs, and industry practices.
• Adhere to Quality System policies for the functional area.
• Understand daily packaging schedule and monitor scrap levels and equipment performance.
