Job summary

Royal Oak is seeking a Utility Operator C to support the packaging of charcoal briquets. The role involves working on the packaging line, stacking and folding items, and maintaining a clean work area. Candidates must be able to lift up to 60 lbs and perform repetitive movements in an open environmental setting with varying weather conditions.

Qualifications

• Identify and remove foreign material in product.
• Fill bags at 85% of standard/pack at least 3 boxes per minute
• Maintain a clean work area
• Identify quality issues
• Can stack cartons at required pallet quantity and configuration within allotted time
• May involve repetitive movements
• Lifting up to 60 lbs.
• Frequent bending, stooping, pushing and pulling as necessary
• Open environment packaging area requires work in various weather and temperature conditions

Responsibilities

• Operate the packaging line and assist with stacking and folding as needed.
• Monitor packaging quality and identify issues to ensure product integrity.
• Maintain a clean and organized packaging area and follow safety procedures.
