Job Overview

Express Employment Professionals is hiring Packaging Operators for a manufacturing facility in Foley. This position is responsible for operating packaging equipment, performing quality inspections, and following safety and production standards in a fast-paced environment.

Schedule

Rotating 12-hour shifts (Day & Night)
3-2-2 DuPont Schedule
Must be available Monday - Sunday, including nights and weekends.

Example Schedule:

• Days 1-3: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM
• Days 4-5: Off
• Days 6-7: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
• Days 8-10: Off
• Schedule repeats on a rotating basis

Responsibilities

• Operate packaging and material handling equipment safely
• Perform visual inspections to ensure quality standards are met
• Follow GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and 5S standards
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Manage and dispose of waste and materials properly
• Follow all safety and quality procedures

Requirements

• Previous manufacturing experience preferred
• High School Diploma or GED
• Ability to work rotating 12-hour shifts, including nights and weekends
• Forklift experience preferred (or willingness to learn)
• Strong work ethic and positive attitude
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Reliable attendance and punctuality
• Basic troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
