Job Title: Packaging Operator I

Shifts Available
- 1st Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (2 openings)
- 2nd Shift: 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM (7 openings)
- 3rd Shift: 11:00 PM – 7:30 AM (7 openings)
Position Purpose
This role supports pharmaceutical packaging operations, specifically for Metered Dose Inhalation (MDI) products. The Packaging Operator will ensure the safe and compliant packaging of products in alignment with cGMP standards and company SOPs.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate pharmaceutical packaging equipment to ensure minimal rejection and optimal output.
- Perform cleaning, changeovers, and preventive maintenance on machines.
- Conduct accurate labeling and batch documentation.
- Ensure line clearance and perform proper status labeling.
- Adhere to safety procedures and wear proper PPE at all times.
- Complete accurate documentation in compliance with cGMP and company policies.
- Collaborate with Warehouse, Manufacturing, and Facilities teams as needed.
- Support training of new employees and participate in continuous improvement efforts.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in packaging operations within a regulated environment.
- Basic understanding of mechanical systems and control principles.
- Familiarity with cGMP and pharmaceutical documentation.
- Ability to read, write, and follow instructions in English.
- Knowledge of OSHA and general Health & Safety procedures.
- Strong organizational and teamwork skills.
Nice To Have
- Accredited college certificate or technical degree.
- Prior experience with MDI products or pharmaceutical manufacturing.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs frequently and up to 50 lbs occasionally.
- Standing, walking, and bending throughout shift.
- Must wear PPE, including potential use of respirators or other protective equipment.
