KLA Industries in the Jefferson, WI area is seeking a Packaging & Operations Supervisor for the 2nd shift (Mon–Fri, 1:30 PM–11:30 PM). This direct-hire role offers up to $75,000 base salary plus overtime, bonuses, and full corporate benefits.

You will lead an off-shift production team, ensuring GMP/HACCP/SQF compliance, coordinating materials, driving line efficiency, and mentoring staff on a fast-paced packaging line within a growing manufacturer.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of supervisory experience in a regulated packaging/production facility.
• Solid working knowledge of GMP, HACCP, and SQF.
• Strong leadership with mentoring and cross-functional communication.
• Proficiency with MS Office or ERP scheduling tools.

Responsibilities

• Direct, mentor, and motivate an off-shift production crew, managing daily line assignments and optimizing headcount for efficiency.
• Coordinate raw ingredient delivery and resource allocation to streamline material flow and meet daily throughput targets.
• Uphold stringent food safety protocols and regulatory benchmarks (GMP, HACCP, SQF).
• Initiate lean manufacturing projects to improve OEE and reduce bottlenecks.
• Serve as primary liaison between 1st and 2nd shifts to ensure seamless communication and productivity.
• Handle labor tracking logs, performance reviews, and daily production metrics.

• Food Safety & Compliance: Uphold stringent food safety protocols and regulatory benchmarks, maintaining 100% compliance with GMPs, HACCP, and SQF guidelines.
• Continuous Improvement: Initiate tactical lean manufacturing projects to eliminate line bottlenecks and improve Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).
• Shift Handoff Management: Act as the primary liaison between 1st and 2nd shift teams to ensure seamless communication and zero lost productivity.
• Shift Administration: Handle labor tracking logs, performance reviews, conflict resolution, and daily production metric reporting.

What We Are Looking For (Requirements & Qualifications)

• Verifiable Supervisory Experience: 3+ years of leadership experience supervising production lines, blending operations, or packaging teams in a regulated environment.
• Food Safety Fundamentals: Solid working knowledge of food safety standards, GMP compliance, and quality operations.
• People-First Leadership: Collaborative communication style with a proven track record of mentoring teams, de-escalating floor friction, and building positive culture.
