Job summary

Ardagh Group is seeking a Production Scheduler in the United States (NJ) to manage production scheduling and purchasing activity for packaging materials and dunnage. The role coordinates with operations, warehouse, and sales to meet production plans, while maintaining inventory accuracy and supplier relationships.

The position requires a strong background in manufacturing, Office proficiency, and up to 5% travel.

Qualifications

• Three years of experience in manufacturing.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to travel up to 5%.

Responsibilities

• Create production schedule and coordinate planned production between operations, warehouse, and sales teams
• Maintain packaging material inventories to deliver planned production
• Assist storeroom with inventory ordering and meeting component specifications
• Collaborate with procurement on vendor selection, price negotiation, and product selection
• Comply with environmental and food safety standards as outlined in plant policies within the department
