Job summary

Allogene Therapeutics in South San Francisco, CA, is seeking a Packaging Manager to lead the design, qualification, and lifecycle management of packaging systems for cryopreserved cell therapy products. You will ensure GMP-compliant packaging and labeling across manufacturing, storage, and distribution.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree and 3+ years in biopharmaceutical packaging, with collaboration across Manufacturing, Quality, Regulatory, and Process Development to support the first

Qualifications

• Degree and packaging experience in biopharmaceutical manufacturing.
• Familiarity with cGMP regulations and regulatory expectations.
• Experience with cryogenic or cold-chain packaging and supply chains.

Responsibilities

• Own design, qualification, and lifecycle management of packaging systems for cryopreserved cell therapy products.
• Support technical performance and qualification of cold chain shipping systems and data analysis.
• Manage artwork, labeling components, and packaging documentation for GMP compliance.
• Coordinate with CMOs and packaging suppliers for secondary/tertiary packaging.
• Lead packaging-related launch activities to ensure on-time commercial product readiness.
