Job summary

You will monitor packaging processes, replenish supplies, and uphold safety and cleanliness in the facility, aligning with HACCP and 5S practices.

Qualifications

• HSD or GED required
• Experience with packaging equipment and changeovers preferred
• Attention to safety and food-quality standards
• Strong communication across shifts

Responsibilities

• Set up machine before the shift and ensure correct packaging materials are loaded
• Change packaging materials as needed and verify correct positioning
• Communicate information to the oncoming shift operators
• Monitor weight control and ensure codes are accurate
• Record lot information and maintain production quantities
• Replenish packaging supplies and maintain cleanliness and 5S standards
• Identify and report equipment issues to maintenance and support teams
• Support HACCP, OSHA, and safety initiatives in the packaging area
