Job summary

Quad is seeking a Machine Operator - Packaging to turn rolls of paper stock into precisely sized sheets, ensuring quality and efficiency on a 5 AM–5 PM schedule. You will own setup, monitor equipment, troubleshoot issues, and mentor teammates to uphold safety and production standards.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years’ related experience, with strong attention to detail and a solid understanding of production processes.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience as a Machine Operator preferred.
• Machine repair and maintenance experience required.
• Manufacturing experience in the packaging industry is preferred, but not required.
• Marquip Sheeting equipment preferred but will consider applicants with large-format sheeting experience.

Responsibilities

• Review job priorities in the computer system and confirm orders.
• Determine optimal machine setup specifications and load stock.
• Follow SOPs and job orders throughout production.
• Produce start-up samples and verify sheet size, cuts, and stock quality.
