Job summary

The Pictsweet Company in Tennessee is seeking a machine operator to join our packaging team. You will be responsible for operating and maintaining packaging lines, setting up for production runs, and working with supervisors to meet productivity standards.

Ideal candidates have at least 2 years of machine operator experience, ability to operate multiple lines, and comfort working in cold environments; lifting up to 75 pounds is required, and English communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Must be able to communicate effectively verbally and in writing in English.
• Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds.
• Experience as a machine operator (min. 2 years) preferred.
• Capable of running two or more lines and performing general mechanical duties.
• Knowledge of packaging systems and related equipment.

Responsibilities

• Operate and mechanically maintain packaging line(s).
• Set up line for production runs and monitor performance.
• Work with supervisors and maintenance to meet productivity goals.
• Maintain safety, quality, and production standards for each run.
• Perform minor repairs and operate ink jet coders and case printers.
