Job summary

Great Lakes Cheese, Inc. is seeking a Line Attendant to support a fast-paced production line. You will help prepare, weigh, load, and space products while adhering to GMP and safety policies. You will review orders, ensure correct packaging, and maintain sanitation in the work area.

Responsibilities include documenting production data, communicating with line personnel on quality and safety issues, and supporting down-time productivity while following company policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret production reports and worksheets.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic operations.
• Basic computer skills for data entry.

Responsibilities

• Maintain area, equipment, and personal sanitation.
• Prepare, weigh, load, and space product according to spec.
• Open and rework product as needed.
• Labeling and packing according to order specs and packaging standards.
• Review order specs and pack boxes; inspect packaging quality.
• Enter data on production reports and communicate safety issues.
