Job summary

Ultipro in Florence, SC is seeking a packaging line operator to read schedules and supply materials to packaging lines. You will ensure materials are available for the shift and communicate any changes in production.

You will identify WIP overflow, manage contaminated containers, recycle usable packaging, and assist in line setup while following safety policies and GMP/QA standards. Regular attendance is essential in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

Knowledge of safety policies and QA standards.
Ability to communicate changes to team and supervisor.
Punctual attendance and reliability are essential.

Responsibilities

Read schedules and specifications to take correct resource materials to packaging line.
Supply proper material to packaging lines throughout the shift as needed.
Communicate with others to be informed of any changeovers of product.
Properly identify work in process (WIP) overflow product that is placed in overflow containers.
Take contaminated containers to proper destination.
Recycle acceptable open packages of product back to packaging line.
Assist in setting up packaging lines assigned per labor model.
Maintain knowledge, understanding and adherence to safety policies, USDA, GMPs, QA, HACCP, Sanitation rules and regulations, and company policies.
Regular and dependable attendance and punctuality is an essential function of this position.
Perform all other duties as assigned.
