Bilinski Sausage Mfg. Co. in Cohoes, NY, is seeking a Packaging Lead for our 1st shift packaging operations.

The role requires experience with production packaging machinery, strong leadership, and attention to detail. You will oversee the team, ensure quality, and manage paperwork and materials. The position offers a weekly pay of $23.00 per hour, with defined hours Monday through Friday and mandatory overtime as needed.

Packaging Lead

The right candidate is experienced in production packaging machinery (preferably food machinery) and handling. Must have excellent attention to detail, be able to multi-task, and have a team player attitude.

Pay is weekly - $23.00 per/hr

HOURS: 1st SHIFT - Mon. - Fri. 5:45am to 3:00pm or until finished with mandatory overtime as daily schedule requires.

Responsibilities Include

• Meeting packaging efficiency goals
• Motivating team members
• Ensuring compliance with dress code, on-time starts, and sanitation for the line
• Completing all batch paperwork and making sure all product packaging specifications are met
• Filling in for key line positions when needed
• Organizing and preparing all supplies, including labels and packaging materials

Requirements

• Proven experience leading teams as a Production Lead or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Knowledge of production processes, quality control, and health & safety standards.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve operational issues effectively.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification (e.g., HACCP) and education is a plus.
• Billingual encouraged
