Job summary

Cresco Labs is seeking a packaging team lead to join our Sunnyside facility in Ohio. The role supports production, leads a small team, and ensures output meets quality standards in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

You will monitor packaging operations, assist with PWOs and manifests, maintain sanitary conditions, and collaborate with multiple departments. Requirements include 1–3 years in manufacturing, strong attention to detail, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and a 21+ age minimum.

Qualifications

  • Experience leading or supervising a team preferred.
  • 1–3 years in a factory, production, or manufacturing setting.
  • Strong attention to detail and adherence to procedures.
  • Ability to measure, package, and label accurately.
  • Good time-management and multi-tasking abilities.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment with change.
  • POS software familiarity is a plus.
  • Possible exposure to plant material, pollen or dust.
  • Must be able to sit/stand/kneel for extended periods.
  • Lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

  • Execute tasks assigned by management.
  • Detect errors and communicate issues to supervisors.
  • Measure, package, and label products as directed.
  • Create labels and PWOs as required.
  • Understand production schedule and PWOs related to it.
  • Prioritize tasks based on the production schedule.
  • Lead and motivate the team to complete tasks.
  • Compare products with standards to ensure quality.
  • Check POs for manifesting and attach manifests to POs.
  • Stage and prep exterior packaging.
  • Maintain a sanitary work environment.
  • Safely transport products within the workspace.
  • Ensure all functions meet quality and compliance standards.
  • Operate and troubleshoot packaging automation equipment.
  • Support other departments as needed.

SCHEDULE

Monday-Friday, 7:15am-3:45pm

CORE JOB DUTIES
  • Executing tasks assigned by Management.
  • Detect errors and communicate issues to Supervisors
  • Measuring, packaging, and labeling products as directed by Management.
  • Label and PLF(PWO)Creation
  • Understanding of production schedule and how PWOsrelate
  • Prioritization of tasks based on production schedule
  • Lead & motivate team through task completion
  • Compares product with product standards to ensure quality
  • Checking POs for manifesting
  • Attaching printed manifests to POs in Order fulfillment area
  • Stagingand preppingexterior packaging
  • Maintaining a sanitary work environment
  • Safely transport products fromworkspaceto storage area
  • Ensure that all functions are performed to the highest standard of quality and compliance
  • Operating/troubleshooting automation equipmentused in the packaging of various product types
  • Assistingother departmentsdependent on business needs
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND SKILLS
  • Demonstrated experience in lead orpeoplemanagement roles is preferred.
  • Strong Leadership skills
  • Must have at least 1 year (2-3 years preferable) of hands-on experience in a factory, production or manufacturing fast-paced environment with measurable goals and working standards.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to adhere to strict policies and procedure
  • Ability to measure, package and label in a precise manner
  • Effective time-management skills and ability to multi-task
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced,changingand challenging environment
  • Proficiencyin windows-based software and point of sale applications a plus
  • Requires work around plant material, which could include exposure to plant pollen and/or dust.
  • Requires ability to sit, stand, kneel, and/or do repetitive actions with your hands forlong periodsof time.
  • Requires ability tolift upto 50lbsto torso level.

Pay Range

$19 - $19 USD
