Description

Job Summary:

The Packaging and Labeling Associate is responsible for performing essential production activities including labeling, packing, sealing, and verifying cannabis products for distribution. This role ensures that all products are accurately labeled, properly packaged, and meet quality assurance and compliance standards before leaving the facility. Associates will also assist with box preparation, inventory organization, and station upkeep.

This is an entry-level role offering the opportunity to learn and grow within a fast-paced, highly regulated cannabis production environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Accurately label, seal, and verify cannabis products according to company SOPs and regulatory requirements.
• Properly set up and organize workstations for efficient, high-quality output.
• Ensure that all products are sealed and packaged correctly for distribution, including verifying strain names, batch numbers, and compliance labeling.
• Inspect products during packaging to ensure quality; immediately report any damaged, defective, or non-compliant products to management.
• Assist with boxing finished goods into P.O.P. boxes (e.g., 16-eighth master cases) and preparing master cases for shipment.
• Stamp boxes, label or relabel products as needed, and maintain accurate tracking of packaging activities.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas, adhering to GMP standards and company housekeeping policies.
• Handle company equipment and packaging materials with care to avoid waste or damage.
• Follow detailed verbal and written instructions and company operating procedures.
• Assist with inventory counts and reconciliation of packaging materials as needed.
• Support production goals by maintaining pace and efficiency during assigned shifts.
• Perform other duties as assigned by leadership.

Education and Experience Requirements:

• Experience working in regulated industries (cannabis, food, pharmaceutical) is a plus.
