• Foundational knowledge of microbiological and packaging testing in a regulated industry.
• Familiarity with GDP, GLP, and laboratory safety protocols.
• Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, Project, and Adobe tools.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures precisely.

Responsibilities

• Conduct tests in GLP-compliant, industry-standard methods.
• Prepare reagents and cultures while maintaining aseptic techniques and a clean lab environment.
• Accurately document test results and observations following GDP.
• Support the execution and documentation of test protocols and final reports.
• Identify and report testing issues or deviations; assist in investigations as needed.
• Participate in equipment use, maintenance, and calibration.
• Contribute to updates of procedures and work instructions; support process improvement initiatives.

Location: Onsite at Canyon Labs in Salt Lake City, Utah

Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00AM - 5:00PM

Overtime: Occasionally Required

Hourly Pay Range: $20.00 - $23.00

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated person to fill the role of Laboratory Technician I. This cross-functional role supports packaging testing activities, contributing to product release, environmental monitoring, and packaging validation studies.
