Job summary

Crescent is seeking an Estimator to understand customer needs and apply engineering cost solutions at the site level. You will research data, develop accurate cost models, and design efficient production layouts aligned with customer specifications and Crescent objectives.

The role emphasizes collaboration with cross-functional teams, training responsibilities, and continuous improvement in estimating practices to enhance cost competitiveness and production efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Packaging Engineering or Industrial Engineering, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong capabilities with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Ability to communicate effectively through oral and written communications.
• Strong understanding of packaging design, assembly, and customer specifications.

Responsibilities

• Read and understand Crescent Safety Playbook – Doing It Safe.
• Follow and reinforce safety practices to maintain a safe work environment at the assigned site.
• Incorporate safe practices into line layouts and Engineered Line Drawings (ELDs).
• Participate in site Safety Committee activities and help promote a Safety-First culture.
• Support Crescent talent selection, development, and recognition processes within the assigned site.
• Provide training and coaching to site personnel as it relates to estimating standards and processes.
• Assist with Training Programs during new start-ups by helping define work standards.
• Promote a culture where Crescent People feel valued, engaged, and supported.
