Job summary

The Simplot Company in Moses Lake is seeking a Packaging Utility to maintain safety, quality, and efficiency on the packaging line. You will perform electronic and mechanical maintenance, operation, sanitation, and troubleshooting of equipment from the distribution system to the LGVs.

A high school diploma and 3+ years of related experience are required. Forklift operation and report drafting using computer systems are expected, with a comprehensive benefits package described in the posting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years related experience and/or training.

Responsibilities

• Maintains safety, quality, food safety, sanitation and GMPs.
• Provides troubleshooting, repair and support on equipment including mechanical, some electrical and some electronic aspects.
• Operates and monitors equipment in the Packaging Area and associated systems.
• Performs required quality checks and sampling and ensures documentation is timely and accurate.
