Job summary

Verista in Indianapolis is seeking a Packaging Engineer to help develop primary and secondary packaging for drug products and devices in a product development setting. You will plan and execute studies, design packaging components, and collaborate with stakeholders to advance projects from development through commercialization.

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering or related field, 1–3 years pharma/device experience.
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional projects.
• Strong interpersonal skills and teamwork.
• Onsite in Indianapolis, 5 days/week.

Responsibilities

• Develop primary and secondary packaging systems for finished products, bulk drug substances, and devices.
• Plan and execute studies to develop packaging component specifications and testing methods.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to enable project progression from development to commercialization.
• Support regulatory documentation and ensure readiness for inspections and submissions.
• Assist in technology evaluations and transfer activities across projects.
