Job summary

UST in Chattanooga, TN is seeking a Packaging Engineer to join the Packaging Innovation Team, driving packaging development for North America and leading packaging line trials from concept through scale up to product launch.

The ideal candidate will have 5–10 years of mid‑level R&D packaging experience in B2C or B2B, with primary packaging development, GMP experience, and a BS Degree in Packaging Engineering (or equivalent). This on-site role requires collaboration with R&D and Operations.

Qualifications

• Mid-level (5-10 years) R&D packaging experience in B2C or B2B.
• Experience with primary packaging development, design, testing, and manufacturing qualification.

Responsibilities

• Component Development for packaging components (bottles, tubes, caps, closures).
• Packaging Specification development, review and implementation.
• Lead packaging line trials and packaging validation.
• Labeling changes and GMP compliance.
