DDL, Inc. is seeking a Packaging Engineer Intern/Co-op for a 6–8 month program in Minnesota. The role focuses on gaining hands-on experience in a medical device packaging test lab, aligned with industry standards and real-world applications.

You will prepare samples, run tests, document results, and help write SOPs to improve processes. This internship offers teamwork, growth, and a sense of purpose within a global testing facility.

Responsibilities

• Prepare samples for testing.
• Perform testing per the test plan or SOP and operate equipment.
• Document results.
• Repackaging of test samples after testing.
• Perform internal projects and write or revise SOPs to improve processes.
• Inventory test samples, set up tests, and compile data in spreadsheets.
• Provide assistance to Project Managers, create worksheets, and write test reports.
• Other duties as requested.

HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE (Overview & Key Responsibilities)

The primary role of the Packaging Engineer Intern/Co‑op is to gain a strong understanding of how a packaging test lab operates along with gaining knowledge of industry test standards through a hands‑on experience in real world applications.

• Preparation of samples for testing
