WK Kellogg Co is seeking an Associate Packaging Engineer to own small to mid-size projects, scale-up packaging, improve margins, productivity, and capacity in Operations. You will guide packaging/material R&D, lead innovations, and collaborate globally to advance new technologies in packaging design and testing.

The role emphasizes technical analysis, prototype testing, and close work with Engineering, Insights, and Procurement teams.

Responsabilidades

• Provide support on technical analysis, evaluation, recommendation, and implementation of packaging materials design and configurations.
• Partner with the Insights Team to develop consumer-based package design research plan and timelines and develop prototypes for testing that meet the package and financial objectives.
• Partner with Procurement to determine package availability/cost information.
• Understand and define process needs and capabilities as they relate to the targeted production line. Work with appropriate resources to schedule plant/equipment testing and provides test plan.
• Assist with plant testing and startup preparation. Provides input for both the plant test plans and production start-up.
• Assist Quality and Operations in establishing the “Image and Defect” Quality Manual, supporting documentation, and training for package image and defects.
• Partners with appropriate resources to refine/optimize the process, reduce Cost of Goods Sold (COGS), and resolve quality issues.
