Job summary

Weekday 1 is seeking a Project Engineer to oversee capital projects within a manufacturing setting, guiding initiatives from concept through commissioning for processing, packaging, and utility systems.

You will collaborate with Operations, Maintenance, Quality, Finance, R&D and external vendors to ensure safety, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement across plant operations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, Chemical Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • 3 to 5+ years of Project Engineering experience within a manufacturing environment.
  • Proven experience in managing capital projects and plant engineering initiatives.
  • Familiarity with packaging, processing, utilities, and automation systems.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Project, and the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong knowledge of project management principles and financial control processes.

Hiring: Project Engineer

Location: Dallas, TX (Onsite)
Duration: 12+ Months (Potential Extension/Conversion)

We are looking for a Project Engineer who has experience overseeing capital projects within a manufacturing setting. This position will support engineering efforts related to processing, packaging, and utility systems, managing projects from initial concept to final commissioning.

Requirements

  • Skills in Six Sigma, Continuous Improvement, and Lean Manufacturing methodologies.
