You will oversee packaging qualifications, testing, supplier collaboration, and cost-reduction programs while mentoring junior engineers and driving cross-functional projects to launch.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Packaging Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• 4+ years packaging development experience.
• Knowledge of packaging materials, manufacturing processes, and testing methodologies.
• Ability to lead cross-functional projects from concept through launch.

Responsibilities

• Participate in development of primary, secondary, and tertiary packaging systems.
• Manage packaging qualification, testing, and commercialization activities.
• Support manufacturing trials, startup activities, and resolution of packaging-related issues.
• Create and maintain packaging specifications and technical documentation.
• Drive cost savings, productivity improvements, and sustainability initiatives.
• Collaborate with suppliers on packaging development and qualification efforts.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance across teams.
