Job summary

McCain Foods USA, Inc. in Rice Lake, Wisconsin is seeking a Maintenance Packaging Supervisor to lead electrical and packaging system upkeep and supervise packaging technicians.

The role focuses on preventive maintenance, MRO inventory, and PLC/HMI improvements in an industrial setting, with a Monday–Friday 6am–4pm schedule. The ideal candidate will have supervisory experience and strong knowledge of electrical distribution, safety practices, and collaboration with production and maintenance

Qualifications

• High School or GED diploma.
• Supervisory/management experience.
• Knowledge of maintaining and troubleshooting industrial electrical distribution systems.
• Must know how to use Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Lead the crew through organizational strategies to optimize workflow processes and equipment improvement.
• Troubleshooting and maintaining mechanical and electrical systems in the packaging equipment area.
• Ensuring packaging equipment is operating reliably, safely, and in compliance with all electrical and mechanical safety regulations.
• Promoting safety through proactive involvement in safety training, adherence to the safety program, and implementation of Electrical Safe Work Practices.
• Coordinate projects with outside contractors and plant management staff to minimize downtime.
• Establish and develop written training programs for maintenance and operation of PLC, HMI, and electrical/packaging equipment.
• Schedule calibrations and inspections of process control/electrical equipment with written documentation.
• Assist in development of plant projects and packaging upgrades, and research equipment for specific projects.
