Job summary
Pratt Industries in the United States is seeking a Structural & Graphic Designer to develop innovative packaging and display concepts. You will work with sales, customers, and production teams to ensure manufacturability, quality, and efficiency through CAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and 3D rendering tools.
Residents in a manufacturing setting should bring CAD experience, ArtiosCAD proficiency, and a portfolio of packaging prototypes.
Qualifications
- College coursework or education in CAD, graphic design, drafting, or related field; or equivalent work experience.
- Experience using ArtiosCAD, Kongsberg CAD Table, or similar packaging design software.
- Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud applications.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop structural packaging and display concepts using ArtiosCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and 3D rendering software.
- Collaborate with sales to create packaging solutions meeting customer requirements and sales objectives.
- Produce and assemble packaging prototypes and samples using a Kongsberg CAD table and hand fabrication methods.
- Evaluate customer requests and develop manufacturable packaging designs.
- Maintain detailed CAD specifications, print information, and project records.
