Job summary

Liberty Diversified International in Phoenix, AZ seeks a Designer to develop product packaging that meets integrity and visual requirements for shipping and display, working with a cross-functional team to support customer needs.

This full-time role reports to the Plant Manager and involves managing samples, documentation, material testing, and quality checks while maintaining production workflows and continuous improvement efforts.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in structural, graphic, or industrial design and 2+ years’ structural and / or graphic design experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience
• Proficiency with Artios CAD, project management systems and/or workflow automation, Adobe Creative Suite or similar, MS Office suite
• Reading a tape measure and basic math to interpret order requirements

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with production, sales, commercialization / front end, and other stakeholders to deliver designs that meet all customer requirements.
• Own process of customer requested samples to include, utilizing project management tool to prioritize tasks, assembly of samples, along with preparing samples for distribution.
• Maintains all appropriate documentation including artwork, CAD drawings, specifications, testing documents, etc.
• Manage stock material for producing customer samples and own replenishment process.
• Monitor workload of orders, set up cutting table, produce orders, and communicate estimated time for completion to internal stakeholders.
• Tests, analyzes, and selects materials for packaging based on durability and cost effectiveness.
• Responsible for routine preventive maintenance on cutting tables.
• Perform quality checks on samples and orders to ensure accuracy.
• Other duties, as assigned.
