Job summary

Fourth Floor in New York City is seeking a Packaging Designer to lead packaging and branding projects from concept to final artwork. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and overseas partners to ensure production-ready files and timely delivery.

A strong portfolio and 3+ years of packaging design experience are required, with expertise in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign. This role is on-site in NYC with fast-paced deadlines.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in packaging design or branding.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating packaging and branding work.
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.
• Understanding of print production, packaging specs, and production-ready artwork.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and ability to manage multiple projects.

Our client, a wholesale consumer goods company is seeking a Packaging Designer to join their team in NYC!

Responsibilities:

• Support the design and development process for packaging, products, and marketing materials.
• Take projects from initial concepts through final artwork while managing timelines and deadlines.
• Create and maintain design specifications and production files.
• Prepare and communicate artwork revisions and final files.
• Review samples and provide clear, detailed feedback.
• Collaborate with overseas vendors and manufacturing partners to address design and production-related questions.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure projects stay on track.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience.
• Experience demonstrated through a strong portfolio will be considered.
• Strong background in packaging and/or branding design.
