Job summary

Smurfit Westrock Springfield is seeking a Production Team Member to operate converting machines, perform setup, and conduct quality checks. You will maintain a clean and safe workspace while learning manufacturing processes on a fast-paced line.

The role requires a strong safety mindset, reliability, and teamwork. Starting pay is $22.07 per hour, with overtime and shift differentials for second shift. Training and career growth are offered within a global packaging company.

Qualifications

• Experience with high-speed, high-volume work and manufacturing environments.
• Ability to read a tape measure and identify defects.
• Willingness to work OT including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Operate converting machines to produce corrugated packaging.
• Perform routine maintenance and adjust machine settings for quality.
• Inspect products for defects and take corrective actions.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Communicate with team and supervisors to meet production goals.
