Job summary

Mentor, a Johnson & Johnson company, in Irving, TX is hiring a Packaging Associate to assemble, inspect, package and label products in a cleanroom environment. The role includes on-the-job training, working 1:30 p.m.–10:00 p.m. on weekdays, with training support on 5:00 a.m.–1:30 p.m.

There are bonuses: $500 sign-on after 30 days and $500 retention after 90 days. You will follow GMP/GDP procedures, use packaging equipment, maintain records, and ensure safety.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Two years of related experience or equivalent education/experience.
• Basic computer skills with tablets/computers for record-keeping.
• Ability to read/understand procedures in English and blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Assemble materials into subassemblies or finished products using approved procedures and equipment.
• Perform in-process quality checks and inspect appearance and seal integrity.
• Package and label products to specifications and print labels.
• Operate packaging machinery and respond to issues affecting compliance.
• Maintain production, quality, and training records.
• Follow GMP, GDP and data-integrity requirements.
• Follow safety guidelines and support safety initiatives.
• Work safely to meet daily production goals.
