Packaging Associate | Now Hiring | Santa Fe Springs, CA

Compensation

• Competitive starting pay of $18.18 per hour, paid weekly
• Monthly bonus based on plant productivity

Available Shifts

• 1st Shift: 6:00 am - 2:30 pm
• 2nd Shift: 2:00 pm - 10:30 pm
• 3rd Shift: 10:00 pm - 6:30 am
• Rotation schedule with rotating days off

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Handle and package products while monitoring quality
• Manufacturing/production/warehouse experience desired
• Previous packaging experience a plus
• Previous experience on a production floor is a plus

Qualifications

• Grade 10 or equivalent education; up to 3 months of related training or experience
• Mathematical skills: ability to add and subtract 4‑digit numbers
• Mechanical skills: basic knowledge of machinery or processes; may be required to stop the machine, shut off glue lines, and clear jammed cartons
• Communication skills: must be able to read, write, and understand basic English; communicate effectively and professionally under pressure
• Reasoning ability: use established guidelines with little or no choice of action, make decisions regarding product quality and acceptability
