Job summary

Novolex is hiring a Packer for our fast-paced Frankfort, IL production facility. You will pack finished goods, inspect for defects, and prepare shipments while following safety rules.

Shifts: Monday–Friday with 2nd shift 3:00pm–11:30pm ($1.50 shift differential) and 3rd shift 11:00pm–7:30am ($2.00 differential). Weekly pay and comprehensive benefits.

Experience in manufacturing and ability to work as part of a team are essential.

• Ability to work with others effectively as a part of a team is essential.
• Ability to follow standard work instructions is required.

Hiring Immediately! Packaging Associate-Rapid Growth Opportunities Available!

Rate: $18.93 an hour - Paid weekly

Shifts: Monday - Friday

2nd: 3:00pm to 11:30pm * Shift Differential $1.50 an hour

3rd: 11:00pm to 7:30am * Shift Differential $2.00 an hour

As a Packer, you will:

Packer provides support for the operation team by working safely, in a fast paced production warehouse environment, while inspecting product for defects and packing finished goods in correct configuration.

• Package product into boxes and prepare for shipment
• Check for quality issues to product and contact team lead with issues
• Ensure you have enough supplies at your station (boxes, tape ect.)
• Keep station clean at all times
• Follow safety guidelines at all times

Education and/or Experience:

• Previous experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Ability to work with others effectively as a part of a team is essential
• Ability to follow standard work instructions is required

Physical Demand/Effort:

• Must wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and clothing, when required, such as safety shoes, face masks, safety glasses, hearing protection, hard hat/bump cap, hair/beard net and gloves
• Ability to stand, walk, twist, stoop, squat, kneel, crawl, bend throughout the duration of the scheduled shift
• Prolonged standing while performing the duties of the job
• Job requires high level of manual dexterity with repetitive use of hands, shoulders, elbows, hips, knees, and ankles
