Job summary

Cosmos Corporation, headquartered in O’Fallon, Missouri, seeks an Assembler for the Assembly Department. The role involves repetitive line-assembly and kitting, operating packaging machinery, inspecting for quality, and maintaining a clean, safe work area.

No prior experience is required, but attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions are essential. You’ll work Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred; training provided.
• Technical aptitude for operating packaging and warehouse equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Time management to meet production deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Perform kitting and assembly tasks using hands and occasional hand tools.
• Package small containers into retail boxes and cartons.
• Operate packaging equipment, including blister machines, shrink wrap machines, and pallet jacks (manual and electric).
• Inspect packaged products to ensure quality, accuracy, and compliance with specifications.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in accordance with company safety standards.
• Lift, move, and stack items weighing up to 10 lbs, 25 lbs, and 50 lbs.
• Stand for up to 5 consecutive hours without a break.
• Complete tasks as assigned by the department supervisor.
