Campbell Soup Company in Utah is hiring a Packaging Operator to safely set up, adjust, operate, and monitor packaging equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will support daily production, maintain product quality, and document production and quality data.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED, ability to read and understand English, and willingness to rotate assignments and work overtime. Pay starts at $22.65 per hour for 2nd shift (2:30 PM–10:30 PM) at 901 N.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Safely operate manufacturing and packaging equipment.

As a Packaging Operator, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality products to customers by safely operating, monitoring, and maintaining packaging equipment within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Your commitment to food safety, operational excellence, and teamwork will help ensure production goals are achieved while maintaining product quality and efficiency.

WHAT YOU WILL DO…

• Safely set up, adjust, operate, and monitor packaging equipment to support daily production requirements.
• Operate packaging machinery including: Elopak Bosch Nimco Jones SIG WIP Coordinator (Utility Driver) Rotate between workstations and provide relief coverage for team members as needed.
• Monitor production processes and make equipment adjustments to maintain efficiency and quality standards.
• Complete required production, quality, and operational documentation accurately and timely.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in accordance with housekeeping standards.
• Support and participate in preventive maintenance activities to maximize equipment reliability and minimize downtime.
• Follow all food safety requirements, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), and company safety procedures.
• Participate in training and cross-training activities to support operational flexibility.
• Work collaboratively with team members to meet production goals and customer demands.
• Support overtime, weekend work, and schedule flexibility as business needs require.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by supervision.

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE… (MUST HAVE)

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Ability to safely operate manufacturing and packaging equipment.
• Ability to speak, read, and understand English to safely and effectively perform job duties.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
• Ability to follow food safety, GMP, and workplace safety requirements.
• Ability to work successfully in a team environment.
• Ability to accurately complete production and operational documentation.
• Willingness to rotate assignments and support operational coverage requirements.
• Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, and varying schedules as needed.

IT WOULD BE GREAT IF YOU HAVE… (NICE TO HAVE)

• Previous production line manufacturing experience.
• Experience operating packaging equipment in a food manufacturing environment.
• Food service or food handling experience.
• Experience working in high-volume manufacturing operations.
• Familiarity with preventive maintenance programs and equipment troubleshooting.
• Experience supporting continuous improvement initiatives and operational efficiency efforts.
• Cross-functional experience working in manufacturing, packaging, or production settings.

COMPENSATION

Pay: $22.65 per hour Shift: 2nd Shift 2:30PM-10:30PM Location: 901 N. 200 W. Richmond, UT 84333 Individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training. Total pay may include other forms of compensation.
