Job summary

Belmark is seeking a Packaging Application Engineer for our Folding Carton division in Wisconsin. You will support the sales process by identifying products and designs to fit customer needs, assist with product selections, and train customers in product use.

Key duties include leading sales in defining end-use requirements, establishing material specs, testing materials, and driving process improvements. Travel to customer sites may be required to land new accounts and secure orders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in an engineering or technology field.
• Typically 3 years of Packaging Application Engineer I experience.
• Ability to analyze data and identify solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead Sales team and customers in defining end-use requirements.
• Establish size, shape, design and tooling specifications for new opportunities.
• Perform competitive analyses of customer samples and recommend best options.
• Create, revise and manage material/converting specifications and test methods.
• Support quality improvement efforts and CAPA resolution.
