Job summary

Automation Displays is seeking a Packager/Forklift Associate to package, label, and stage finished goods while moving materials through the facility. You will safely operate forklifts and support accurate shipping, labeling, and inventory documentation.

The role emphasizes attention to detail, adherence to safety, and collaboration with Production, Shipping, and Inventory teams to meet customer specifications.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Experience in manufacturing, warehouse, shipping, packaging, or material handling preferred.
  • Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification required.
  • Experience with ERP/MRP, barcode scanners, or inventory systems preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Verify product quantities, part numbers, labels, and packaging requirements prior to shipment or storage.
  • Prepare products for shipment by assembling cartons, crates, pallets, and protective packaging materials.
  • Label, identify, and stage finished goods for shipping or storage.
  • Safely operate forklifts and other material handling equipment.
  • Load and unload materials, products, and shipments as required.
  • Complete shipping, packaging, inventory, and production documentation accurately.
  • Inspect finished products and packaging for damage, quality concerns, or discrepancies.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment following 5S principles.
  • Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and safe work practices.
  • Collaborate with Production, Shipping, Inventory, and Operations teams to support customer requirements.
  • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.

Job description

Position Summary

The Packager/Forklift Associate is responsible for packaging, labeling, staging, and moving finished goods, materials, and inventory throughout the manufacturing facility. This position ensures products are packaged accurately, safely, and in accordance with customer specifications while supporting efficient material flow throughout the operation.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Verify product quantities, part numbers, labels, and packaging requirements prior to shipment or storage.
  • Prepare products for shipment by assembling cartons, crates, pallets, and protective packaging materials.
  • Label, identify, and stage finished goods for shipping or storage.
  • Safely operate forklifts and other material handling equipment.
  • Load and unload materials, products, and shipments as required.
  • Perform routine inspections of forklifts and material handling equipment and report maintenance concerns.
  • Accurately complete shipping, packaging, inventory, and production documentation.
  • Inspect finished products and packaging for damage, quality concerns, or discrepancies.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment consistent with 5S principles.
  • Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and safe work practices.
  • Collaborate with Production, Shipping, Inventory, and Operations teams to support customer requirements.
  • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous manufacturing, warehouse, shipping, packaging, or material handling experience preferred.
  • Previous forklift operating experience preferred.
  • Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification required.
  • Experience in industrial manufacturing, warehouse, or engineered-to-order environments preferred.
  • Basic computer and documentation skills preferred.
  • Experience utilizing ERP/MRP systems, barcode scanners, or inventory systems preferred.
