Job summary

Reser’s Fine Foods, Inc. in Salem, Oregon is seeking a production/packaging teammate to ensure finished products are correctly boxed and labeled.

You will check dates and weights, seal packages, and maintain a clean, safe area in a refrigerated plant where temperatures range from 25°F to 110°F. Responsibilities include assembling containers, removing defective items, and following GMP and safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• Production or assembly experience preferred.

• Ensures product date and weight are within established guidelines.
• Seals filled product packages and boxes.
• Examines containers, materials, and products to ensure packaging meet company specifications.
• Removes defective products or packages from the production line.
• Assembles product containers on an assembly line.
• Maintains a clean and organized work area.
• Follows company safety guidelines and Good Manufacturing Practices.
• Regular attendance and punctuality are required.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities

Working Conditions

• The environment will be wet and cold with temperatures ranging from 25°F to 110°F.
• Repetitive hand, wrist, and finger activities.
• Repetitive lifting, kneeling, and bending with items in excess of 20 lbs. is required.
• Requires walking and standing for long periods of time.
