Job summary

Qualified Staffing is seeking skilled Pack Room/Quality Control Inspectors for an automotive parts manufacturer in the Lapeer area. Positions available on 1st shift (5:30AM-4:00PM) and 2nd shift (4:30PM-3:00AM) with mandatory overtime, including Saturdays.

Candidates should have some manufacturing or quality control experience and be comfortable using measuring tools to verify conformance to specifications. Pay starts at $15-$16 per hour and requires an up-to-date resume.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in manufacturing or quality control preferred.
• Must be able to work mandatory overtime.
• Basic computer proficiency required.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and test materials/products for conformance to specifications.
• Measure dimensions with calipers, gauges, or micrometers.
• Record inspection results and quantities inspected.
• Mark items with grade or status (accept/reject).
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job description

Lapeer area high precision, high volume machining company is looking for skilled Pack Room/Quality Control Inspectors to join their team. This is an automotive parts manufacturing facility. Pay is based on experience, starting at $15-16 per hour. Candidates must submit an up-to-date resume to be considered.

1st Shift (5:30AM - 4:00PM) and Second Shift (4:30PM - 3:00AM) are available. Mandatory overtime is required most weeks, including Saturdays. Some manufacturing and quality control experience is needed.

Job Responsibilities

• Inspects, tests, or measures materials, products, or work for conformance to specifications.
• Measures dimensions of products to verify conformance to specifications, using measuring instruments such as calipers, gauges, or micrometers.
• Records inspection such as quantities inspected or graded.
• Marks items with details such as grade or acceptance-rejection status
• Other duties as assigned
