Job summary

Union Square Events, part of Compass Group, is hiring for a full-time Pack Out position at the Central Kitchen in Brooklyn, NY. The role involves stacking finished goods, preparing containers for shipment, and maintaining accurate inventory records.

Experience with refrigerators/fulfillment is required, with a Tuesday–Sunday shift from 11:00 AM to 12:00 AM. Pay ranges from $20 to $26 per hour, with an internal referral bonus available.

Responsibilities

• Cleans and prepares containers for packing, ensuring containers are undamaged.
• Stacks and piles finished goods into containers; prepares goods for shipment following specific instructions.
• Verifies items pulled from packages are correct.
• Maintains database of packages.
• Completes documents to record measurement, weight and product count; tracks inventory.
• Removes completed or defective products or materials, placing them on moving equipment such as conveyors or in specified areas such as loading docks.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
