Job summary

SAIC is seeking a Logistics and Engineering Operations Analyst to provide analytical, planning, and operational support across the Pacific theater. The role translates engineering requirements into actionable logistics, movement plans, and readiness updates for senior leaders.

The position requires strong independent judgment, disciplined information capture, and collaboration with DoD components, logistics and planning teams, and regional partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, logistics, or related field required.
• Ten+ years of related experience; Masters 8+ years; PhD/JD 5+ years possible.
• Experience in joint military planning and defense logistics required.

Responsibilities

• Analyze theater requirements, infrastructure constraints, access limitations, and logistics dependencies.
• Attend briefs and planning sessions; capture decisions, risks, and actions.
• Translate engineering guidance into logistics assessments and staff products.
• Coordinate with engineering, logistics, planning, and operations across services.
• Develop briefings, executive summaries, and readiness updates.
• Support exercises and real-world planning, including shift-work when required.
• Maintain trackers and readiness indicators for visibility.
